We believe you can have your vegetables and eat them too! What we mean is that you can maintain a busy lifestyle without sacrificing quality and nutrition in your diet.

mendoberri offers two straightforward options: eat-in or carry-out.  If you're eating in for lunch, place your order at the counter and we'll bring it out to you.  After 4:00 PM, we provide table service--reservations appreciated but not required. If you’re ordering lunch or dinner for takeout, come in and place your order at the counter--most menu items can be ready in about 10 minutes. You can also order in advance by calling 651.209.3270 and then swing by to pick it up. Sorry, we do not deliver yet! But if you’ve got little ones in the car or don’t want to bother coming in, just let us know and we’ll bring it to you curbside when you arrive.

about the chef

Executive Chef and Owner, Robert Ulrich, is an acclaimed, award-winning international Executive Chef. Robert grew up in Vienna, Austria and went on to develop over 20 years of professional culinary preparation, business management and training expertise.

He is a former Partner and Executive Chef with Washington, D.C. - based Seasons Culinary Services, a boutique in-house catering company serving over ten of the D.C. metro area’s most prestigious law firms. As Corporate Chef and Partner, he developed and refined the menus for each client and managed the culinary preparation training and instruction program. He also served as Corporate Mentor, and was an active Executive Chef at many of the company’s units.

Prior to his partnership with Seasons, Robert was the Executive Chef for the award-winning, four-diamond Relais-Chateau Morrison House Hotel in Alexandria, Virginia and was also the Executive Chef of the Marquette Hotel, a Hilton International property in downtown Minneapolis. Robert has also been the chef at various properties in London, Zurich and Frankfurt and traveled the world for several years as a chef with Holland America Cruise Lines.

He has returned to his “second home” in Minneapolis to launch this exciting new venture and is especially proud to be using locally grown products to create an eclectic menu that pulls from his worldwide influence, Austrian homeland and Minnesota family.
